Health Insurance

With top-quality Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois as Power's medical provider, the plan offers two PPO's and an HMO option with insurance premiums ranging from no cost for the employee to various cost sharing arrangements for dependent coverage. Power's dental coverage from Ameritas Group offers two plan choices, with one being provided at no cost to the employee.

401k

Eligibility begins the first of the month following your start date. Matching begins the first of the month after 6 months of service. Company matches 50% of the amount you elect to defer up to the first 6% of compensation.

Company Bonus Plan

The company has a cash bonus plan primarily based upon your performance for the year. High levels of customer service, mentoring, dedication, extra effort, and teamwork are some of the criteria used to determine the bonus amount.

Educational Assistance

Available to full time employees after a year of service. Tuition reimbursement of relevant educational courses will be paid based on course grade and is limited to a certain amount each year.

Employee Assistance Program

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential resource for you and your household members. It provides free short term counseling for virtually any type of concern including, stress, depression, family concerns, marital problems, substance abuse, legal assistance, etc.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending accounts provide an opportunity for you to reduce your taxes and increase your take-home pay. This benefit enables you to use pre-tax income to pay for health and/or dependent care expenses.

Disability Insurance

Long Term

Provided by company at no cost to employee. Amount of coverage is 60% of monthly salary with a cap of $9,000 per month. There is a 90-day waiting period.

Short Term

Provided by company at no cost to employee. Reimbursement is based on medical certification and years of service.

Life Insurance

Coverage equal to one times your annual salary and is paid by the company.

Performance Reviews

New employees are reviewed six months from hire date. Thereafter, all employees are reviewed at the middle and end of each year.

Business Expenses

Any expense incurred, including travel and entertainment, will be reimbursed by the company on a monthly basis.

Sick Leave

Five days per year.

Personal Days

Two per year.

Holidays

Seven paid holidays per year. In addition, two floater holidays are provided.

Vacations

Two weeks vacation available based on accrued rate of .83 days per month of employment. Three weeks vacation after five years of employment. Four weeks vacation after ten years of employment.
