Beyond Power

Tailgating and yard games. You name it, and I’ve probably played it. If not, you’ve gotta show me this new game!
Iowa State University '16 | Joined Power in 2016

How I started in construction: My first construction related job was as a laborer erecting formwork and pouring concrete during the summer and fall semester of my sophomore year of college in Ames, IA.

Why did you choose construction as a profession: I’ve always enjoyed building things and showing off my work. At first, architecture seemed like the route I wanted to go but I liked being on site way to much! Plus, you get to work with great people and solve new problems every day.

Best thing about living in Chicago: There’s so much to do! It's hard to walk around the city and not see or hear about something new.

Favorite Chicago landmark: Grant Park or anything else on the lakefront. Great view of the city skyline and the water.

Favorite sports team: Iowa State Cyclones and all Chicago teams except for the Sox .
