Managing By Values

Inspired by the book Managing by Values by Ken Blanchard and Dr. Michael O’Connor during the late nineties, Power retained co-author Dr. Michael O’Connor to assist in reframing the company mission and values statements. The purpose of this effort was to more clearly communicate the essence of the company's culture such that any employee in any role would easily understand what Power expects and what Power stands for. What has proven so powerful and effective is the structure first developed by authors Blanchard and O'Connor... namely the linkage of each Value with a Key Result and several Key Actions.

Our Mission

Power Construction Company provides construction services for select commercial and institutional clients in the Chicago area. Our firm exists so that each of us can make a difference for all. We achieve our mission by living our values.
