Effective today, two longtime Power veterans, Bob Gallo (left) and Jeff Geier (right), are promoted to Executive Vice President. "Bob and Jeff have played key roles in our success these past years by dedicating themselves to 'doing the right thing' for employees, customers, and our subcontractors", said Jeff Karp, CEO.
Bob Gallo is a 31‐year veteran of the construction industry. He joined Power in 1987 as a young Project Manager. Since then he has helped direct a diverse mix of projects valued at more than $2 billion, including some of the company's largest and most complex healthcare and university projects. Bob is currently leading Power's $400 million replacement facility project for The Ability Institute of RIC. A graduate of Bradley University, Bob’s leadership includes board level guidance and fundraising support for numerous charities primarily focused on health care and enhanced education for under‐served youth. He has also coached over 40 youth soccer and basketball teams.
A graduate of Iowa State University, Jeff Geier began his career in construction in 1990. In 2000, he joined Power and immediately played a significant role on the company's largest design/build project — the $170 million headquarters expansion for Discover Financial Services in Riverwoods, Illinois. Jeff has gone on to help manage many of the company's high profile corporate and mixed‐use projects including new headquarters projects for Astellas Pharma US, Inc. and Panduit Corporation, the renovation of the historic Wrigley Building on Michigan Avenue, and the $180 million New City development at Halsted and Clybourn in Lincoln Park.
