TrainingIt is said that learning is a lifelong journey.![]() As part of our longstanding commitment to grow staff from within, Power offers numerous formal and informal opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge. Typically, we provide approximately 75 different training opportunities to choose from in any given year... both hard skills (like scheduling or MEP Coordination) and soft skills (such as Conflict Resolution or Time Management). Training scenarios range from formal classroom and workshop settings to informal technical briefings and site-based reviews. In fact, most staff meetings are geared around training and knowledge sharing, including the monthly Staff Group Meetings and the Quarterly Operations Meetings. Bottom line, self-selecting how much time you invest in training will directly impact how fast you learn and grow. ![]() Looking ahead, we believe we must continue to find creative ways to accelerate the pace of our learning across our entire organization.
