POSITION SUMMARY:
Works with the project team’s Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent to directly support project responsibilities including communication, document management, reporting, quality control, safety, and basic jobsite office management during the construction period. Work locations can vary between jobsite and main office. Full- or Part-Time schedules available.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with job set up and close out
• Prepare and maintain monthly project status reports
• Update and distribute outstanding daily logs, change orders, RFIs and submittals
• Participate in various construction meetings and assist team with meeting minutes
• Maintain project filing
• Assist Superintendent and Foreman with tool tracking
• Assist Foreman with in-wall and above-wall ceiling checks
• Ensure various project reporting documentation, compliance and communication is complete, detailed and accurate (MWBE, Certified Payroll, LEED, etc.)
• Assist with safety orientation, forms, observations and site-specific safety plans
• Oversee general correspondence and perform additional assignments as assigned
• Coordinate any administrative duties needed by the job or the project team
• Maintain and update project-specific Contact Directory
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Actively pursuing a construction-related degree or equivalent combination of related experience and entry-level communication courses
• Beginner knowledge of construction drawings and specifications, building materials and required standards
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface well with Clients and Project Team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to change priorities as appropriate
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Accountable, collaborative and proactive
• Must be dependable with stable attendance
