In Modern Healthcare Magazine’s 2016 Construction and Design Survey, Power was ranked number 13 on the list of Top National Construction Management Companies. The annual survey also identifies the top architectural firms, design-builders, development companies, and general contractors as well as the top building types over the last year.
In 2015, Acute Care Renovations ranked by far the most popular building type spurred by the competitive nature of a more consumer-driven healthcare marketplace. Power’s experience attests to this fact with more than 75% of our healthcare revenue last year from acute care renovations.
Free-standing outpatient facilities and medical office buildings continue to play an active part of the healthcare market. Power recently completed the St. Joseph Hospital Center for Advanced Care in Chicago. This 380,000 sf, 10-story diagnostic and treatment facility features outpatient surgery, medical imaging, a cancer center, physician clinics, physical therapy and a 350-car parking garage. Power is currently building an on-campus 87,000 sf medical office building for Centegra Hospital in Huntley, Illinois.
