Transforming the 61st floor of the iconic Willis Tower was no small task. Beyond the typical challenges of renovating within an occupied high-rise in Chicago, this project posed the added complexity of being one of the top tourist attractions in the city.
The project, a joint venture of Austin Power Partners (Austin Commercial, Power Construction, and Ujamaa Construction), includes a 2,500,000 sf, 5-story parking facility featuring 6,900 parking spaces with a fourth floor customer lobby and rental car counters.
