Built in 1983, the 57-story modernist building designed by SOM provides all the luxuries of downtown living as well as close access to Chicago’s beautiful lakefront. For this 43rd floor renovation, Power worked with Gary Lee Partners to transform this outdated condominium into a space that melds sophisticated design with modern comforts and functionality. The 3,000 sf unit features 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 powder room, kitchen, dining room, and a den with a state-of-the-art home theater system. The den features an Ecosmart bioethaneol fireplace surrounded by metal and stone to create a prominent feature wall. The distinctive design includes high-touch details like custom glass backsplash with floating glass shelves for the wet bar and Hefle symmetrical pocket doors.
