POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will lead complex IT and business technology initiatives, aid in mentoring new PMO project managers, help evolve the PMO best practices, and ensure project alignment with organizational standards and strategic business needs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead cross-functional IT and technology-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Bring experience to help the PMO evolve to better suit the needs of a growing construction company, including maintaining PMO project templates.
• Facilitate collaboration between IT Services, Business Systems, field operations, corporate teams, and external vendors.
• Apply PMO methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches depending on the project.
• Create detailed project plans and schedules, requirements, and deliverables aligned with Power’s standards.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts: schedules, status reports, risk and issue logs, change requests, and communication plans.
• Support and enforce change management processes including testing, documentation, communication and stakeholder readiness.
• Manage resource allocation, project budgets, and competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Lead escalation and resolution activities when project issues arise.
• Lead project meetings, communicate effectively to all aspects of the business, present project status, risk mitigation plans, schedule.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business application and process implementation project management experience; construction industry exposure preferred.
• Demonstrated success mentoring project management staff.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies including SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall.
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and meeting facilitation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• General understanding of software development, system architecture, and IT operations.
• Strong understanding of change management processes and tools.
• Creative Problem Solving – Define problems, analyze root causes, identify solutions, and develop action plans. Encourage innovative thinking across the PMO.
• Flexibility / Adaptability – Respond effectively to shifting priorities, stakeholder needs, and organizational changes.
• Quality Service – Build strong relationships with internal teams and consistently deliver service that meets customer expectations.

COMPENSATION DETAILS:
Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000
