RECRUITING WITH POWER:
The number one challenge for every company? Hiring the right people. However, for us, recruitment is ultimately about finding people that fit best for the long run – not just hiring bodies. Our people drive our success and enhance our culture. As a Senior Recruiting Manager, you’re shaping the future of Power.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about working not only in the business of construction, but on the business of Power. You’ll play a key role in identifying the best candidates, nurturing our culture, and making a lasting impact on the company.
Want to learn more? We would love to talk with you!
THIS ROLE MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF:
• You hold a bachelor's degree and bring 8+ years of recruiting experience, with construction recruiting being essential. With experience in staffing agency and in-house recruiting environments, you offer a well-rounded perspective on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top candidates across the construction industry.
• You thrive on variety and building relationships - you're not looking for a desk-bound role. From sourcing and interviewing candidates to developing strong connections, you enjoy engaging with people, whether that's in a coffee shop or over happy hour with candidates across the construction industry.
• You want to make an impact. You're passionate about making a difference for both the organization and the people whose careers you help shape.
• You're patient yet driven to succeed. You understand that, in an industry where top candidates are often passive, earning trust takes time—and you value the long-term impact of those relationships.
• You not only have a keen eye for assessing both technical skills and interpersonal strengths, but you also understand the value of providing unbiased coaching and support to candidates.
• You enjoy picking up the phone and building rapport. You're a self-starter and problem solver who can see the bigger picture and take proactive steps to move things forward.
• You're a natural connector. You immerse yourself in social situations with ease, build rapport quickly, and bring confidence and approachability to every interaction.
• You're passionate about building high-performing, diverse teams and engaging positively with people from all backgrounds and at all levels.
• You're detail-oriented and committed to clear, consistent communication.
• Shaping a Better Hiring Experience: You want to bring fresh ideas and thoughtful feedback to improve how we attract, evaluate, and hire top talent. Whether it's refining outreach strategies, streamlining processes, or enhancing candidate interactions, you'll play a key role in continuously improving our hiring experience.
• Social Media & Marketing: You enjoy building your professional reputation while representing a well-respected company like Power. You're adept at leveraging social media and other digital platforms to expand your network and enhance brand visibility.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Building Candidate Pipelines: You'll proactively source candidates and maintain warm relationships with prospective hires. You know how to engage passive candidates and spark interest in a way that feels authentic and aligned with our values.
• Collegiate Recruiting: You'll build and maintain strong relationships with students and faculty across your assigned campuses. From coordinating information sessions and career fairs to supporting intern programs and attracting full-time graduates, you'll help create a first-class experience for emerging talent while strengthening Power's presence on campus.
• Identifying the Right Fit: You know what makes a great hire and are skilled at attracting candidates who bring a team-first mindset, a strong work ethic, a player-coach mentality, and a genuine passion for construction.
• Networking: You'll attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to stay informed on market trends, build relationships, and expand your network within the construction community.
• Communication: You'll communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Bonus points if you bring creativity and marketing-minded thinking to the table.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000.
