Northeastern Illinois University | Education Building

This project features the new construction of a five-story, 167,000 sf education building on the Northeastern Illinois University campus in Chicago. The building will include four above-grade floors housing classrooms, labs, offices, and other essential support spaces, as well as a mechanical penthouse and a below-grade basement level protected by a waterproofing system. A pedestrian bridge will connect this building to an adjacent structure. The structure itself will feature caisson foundations, a structural steel frame, and a durable precast concrete and curtainwall enclosure. Construction is slated for completion by Summer 2027.
