The private-room bed tower is a three-story vertical expansion constructed over an existing ICU unit with medical/surgical inpatient nursing. Phase II included renovations to the existing elevators within the occupied hospital, and the final phase refreshed the lobby areas on each floor to align with the new tower finishes.
Our preconstruction specialists supported the project team by providing eight estimates during design to maintain the target budget and maximize value; supporting preparation of the Certificate of Need budget; utilizing design-assist procurement with the enclosure and structural steel trades to enhance design and maintain schedule; and coordinating the design, fabrication, and installation of 84 prefabricated bathroom pods
