American Place Casino

American Place Casino is a 42-acre development transforming Fountain Square into a world-class gaming, entertainment, and hospitality destination. Phase One includes a 204,700 sf permanent casino replacing the adjacent temporary casino, featuring 1,000 gaming positions, multiple restaurants, and a variety of entertainment venues. The building enclosure is cold-formed steel framed with sheathing and a vapor barrier, finished with a field-laid brick veneer facade. Executed as a joint venture with Power & Sons, this is the largest development project in Waukegan’s history.
