The building’s amenity spaces create an elevated residential experience with a fitness center, lounge, sky deck, fireplace, dog run, bike room, green roof, and outdoor dining areas—all designed to foster community and relaxation above the city.
Value Engineering & Design Innovation
A distinctive element of Superior House’s design, the flying buttresses surrounding the amenity deck were initially planned as metal columns with inlay detailing. Following collaboration among the owner, architect, and project team, the columns were redesigned in concrete, achieving a nearly identical aesthetic at roughly half the cost.
The team also proposed replacing the wooden slatted ceilings on the amenity deck and terrace with a cost-effective alternative that maintained the original architectural vision. Both value engineering solutions were approved, delivering significant savings without compromising design integrity or visual appeal.
