Karis Cold Storage

As the design+build partner of Karis Cold Storage for their freezer distribution warehouse, UISC has assisted with the PD and annexation (including primary zoning and building standards modification), design/engineering, site development and construction management services on this 278,000 sf project. The building is being built in phase 1 of the project, and additional buildings will be constructed in phase 2.  

This state-of-the-art facility includes a single 150kw emergency generator and a 480,000 gallon fire tank/adjoining fire pump house due to the low water availability from the city main at the site.
