This United Parcel Service Chicago Area Consolidation Hub includes nearly two million square feet of building space on 240 acres in suburban Hodgkins, Illinois. It includes 4,000 staging bays and 1,250 docks winding around the perimeter of the facility which has more than 3.5 miles of exterior wall. More than 130,000 cubic yards of concrete were used to complete the structure.
Despite early obstacles including contaminated soil, underground obstructions, and environmental compliance issues, we delivered the project on time within the tight 18-month schedule.
