20,300 sf

We were selected to build out the 31st floor for the Bureau of Asset Management at the Cook County Building, transforming 20,300 sf into a modern government office workplace. The new space features updated conference rooms, abundant flexible collaboration areas, and an open office layout that maximizes natural light and sweeping Chicago skyline views, supporting productivity, transparency, and employee engagement.

Stair Infill

Due to existing rebar conditions that prevented a traditional cast-in-place solution, we installed more than 11,000 pounds of structural steel to infill a former interconnecting stair, ensuring safety and performance without impacting occupied floors.

Virtual Technology Upgrades

We upgraded the office with Microsoft Teams Rooms across multiple conference spaces, creating a consistent, user-friendly virtual conferencing experience for hybrid meetings.

Diversity Goals

We achieved 42% MBE/WBE participation on the project, significantly exceeding the client’s stated requirements and reinforcing our commitment to inclusive partnerships.

Government Entities

Because the Bureau of Asset Management is located within an active government building, we closely coordinated security measures and logistics to maintain operations and minimize disruption to other government employees.
