Seeking a centralized Chicago location with quick access to O’Hare International Airport, Komatsu America Corporation relocated its headquarters from Rolling Meadows to Triangle Plaza on the city’s northwest side. The new office supports approximately 300 employees in an open, collaborative work environment tailored to a global heavy equipment manufacturer.
Occupying 80,000 sf across four floors, the headquarters features executive offices, conference rooms, training rooms, huddle spaces, a large café with banquet seating, an internal stair with integrated stone seating, and custom branding and artwork throughout. This workplace design enhances connectivity, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Bluebeam Revu served as a centralized digital hub for project delivery, consolidating drawings, 360-degree photos, submittals, RFIs, and Matterport scans in a single platform. This approach improved coordination by enabling subcontractors, the owner, architects, owner’s representatives, and building management to view documents, share updates, and make real-time comments directly on the drawings.
