Yorktown Center Expansion

Yorktown Mall demolished the old Montgomery Ward’s wing and replaced it with The Shops on Butterfield – a sophisticated, outdoor lifestyle center and several new outlot restaurants. The project also included the renovation of the indoor courtyard where it connects to the new center.  The project also added a Sports Authority and Marshall’s/Home Goods around the south end of the mall.  

Effective Reuse

Because there was a major deficit in fill material for the demolished basement, a concrete crusher was set up on site to recover demolished concrete and minimize the cost of import fill in the winter.
