Site Safety

Site safety and being a good neighbor is always a top priority, especially when working near a university with over 50,000 students and in a town that takes football game days seriously, drawing more than 100,000 people to Michigan Stadium. During the planning phase of this project, our team worked closely with city officials and local property owners to minimize the impact of construction on traffic in this pedestrian-heavy area. We proactively communicated street closures and any loud or potentially disruptive on-site activities. During preparation for the tower crane installation, all affected properties were individually contacted and arranged access to a nearby parking structure for tenants impacted by the road closures. Additionally, a working platform over the neighboring library's parking lot was set up to ensure patrons can easily access the facility, along with an installed a pedestrian canopy over the south side bike lane to protect both cyclists and pedestrians on this busy street.
