PAYROLL COORDINATOR
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Payroll Coordinator will help support the day-to-day responsibilities of administering payroll, including providing direct support to colleagues and managers with payroll-related questions. This position will collaborate with the People and Culture team to ensure a cohesive process for payroll administration. This position reports to the Payroll Supervisor and is a hybrid role with one day a week work from home, available.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in processing weekly multi-state payroll for Union Employees
• Reconcile Union Reporting monthly and make payments to Unions directly
• Reconcile payroll weekly to ensure accuracy in balancing hours and wages
• Process Job Cost Transfers
• Process Unemployment Claims for Union Employees
• Assist with Child Support Liens and other Wage Garnishments
• Complete monthly Certified Payroll reporting based on project requirements for Project Accountants
• Complete monthly CCIP/OCIP payroll reporting for Insurance Group
• Complete Verifications of Employment (VOE)
• Assist in Accounting/HR/Payroll department Audits throughout the year
• Participate in continuous learning and organizational development activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various areas in the Organization in support of projects and/or additional tasks, as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate degree or equivalent training and education
• 0-3 years' experience with payroll in a union or construction environment
• Must possess high attention to detail, a keen sense of confidentiality, and discretion.
• Excellent communication, customer service organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Ceridian is a plus but not required
