POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sr. Business Analyst II, you will drive successful ERP data conversions, system integrations, and define use cases and process maps of linked applications for our clients in the construction industry Reporting to the Vice President of Development Services, you will lead project teams, manage client relationships and mentor analysts and consultants. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. ERP Data Conversions & Integration
◦ Manage entire ERP data conversion lifecycle including strategy, requirements gathering, mapping, cleansing, extraction, loading, validation, and go live.
◦ Defining and enforcing conversion methodology including data conversion scope, data conversion cycles, acceptance timelines and acceptance criteria.
◦ Develop data mapping documentation for master, transactional, and historical data.
◦ Lead cutover planning, final extract/load activities, data freeze coordination and go-live validation.
◦ Coordinate integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, payroll, project management, and financial systems.
◦ Document integration specifications, data flows, and interfaces.
2. Data Conversion Team Lead
◦ Lead day-to-day work of data conversion project teams.
◦ Ensure adherence to mapping, validation, and delivery standards.
◦ Run working sessions with client SME’s to resolve mapping logic.
◦ Review and Approve team deliverables prior to client delivery.
3. Provide Client Services
◦ Business Process Root Cause Analysis of inefficiencies or issues in clients’ processes, developing solutions that address root causes.
◦ Business Process Improvement Consulting, including actionable recommendations to optimize workflows, improve data, and increase efficiency.
◦ Development Advising on the design and architecture of dashboards, integrations, and other deliverables based on client needs.
◦ Technical Solution Design for robust and scalable solutions that address client requirements align with their business objectives.
4. Project Management & Controls
◦ Create project plans, schedule tasks, and assign resources using designated systems.
◦ Manage meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and status updates.
◦ Document and manage issues, ensuring open issues are resolved proactively.
◦ Track project maintenance, including budget vs. actual, at-risk tasks, resource constraints, backlog, and project closeout activities.
◦ Manage project scopes, ensuring project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
◦ Follow Palmer’s project controls and monitor project risks to mitigate potential issues.
5. SOW Drafting
◦ Translate discovery information, client needs, and Palmer’s tailored approach into Statements of Work (SOWs) that detail client commitments, Palmer deliverables, timelines, fee estimate, and necessary resources.
◦ Prepare hours and cost estimates to complete the work and prepare deliverables.
6. Proposal Writing (as necessary)
◦ Lead or partner in proposal writing in response to RFPs, when project complexity requires a more unique approach, or when the client is new to Palmer.
◦ Present proposals to clients, addressing questions and concerns and (as needed) supporting leadership in negotiating final contracts.
7. Service Integration
◦ Develop an understanding of Palmer’s range of services and solutions.
◦ The ability to recognize and communicate opportunities with other service lines to build on our clients’ success.
8. Supervisory Responsibilities
◦ Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
◦ Review and approve weekly timesheets, guiding employees when timesheet corrections are needed before approval.
◦ Review and approve employee expense reports, guiding employees when expense report corrections are needed before approval.
◦ Provide guidance on annual development plans, helping prioritize training & development opportunities and reviewing and approving requests.
◦ Support professional growth through coaching and mentoring.
◦ Provide guidance in establishing annual goals in alignment with company and/or practice area goals and with employees’ career goals.
◦ Manage employee performance including providing ongoing constructive feedback, conducting mid-year and year-end reviews.
◦ As necessary, manage performance issues through performance improvement plans or other appropriate means.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
1. 5+ years in ERP Data Conversion, preferably in construction ERPs with a deep understanding of ERP module interdependencies (GL, AP, AR, JC, Payroll, etc.)
2. ETL Concepts
3. Demonstrated project management experience of the full lifecycle data conversions in construction ERPs
4. Ability to design and validate complex mapping structures
5. Experience balancing subledger to GL after conversion
6. 5+ years client facing experience

COMPENSATION:
Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000
