In the heart of Chicago's bustling Lakeview neighborhood, Town Hall apartments serves residents 55+ with vibrant and modern living.

Combining the adaptive re-use of the historic decommissioned Town Hall police station and a new six story structure, the affordable housing facility for LGBTQ seniors features a community room, outdoor patio and retail space. Residents are connected to supportive services and activities at the neighboring Center on Halsted community center, also built by Power.

To showcase a bright presence along Halsted Street, the building is clad in colorful metal panels and punched windows.

Quality is Key

Our team and Quality Support Manager built on-site window mock-ups for thorough water testing to ensure a high-quality, water-tight design and installation. We built a full apartment unit mock-up to review fit and finishes with the owner, architect and subcontractors, establishing the quality expectations for every unit.
