The multi-level club features indoor/outdoor pools, high-end spa, café, child center, basketball courts, studio fitness spaces, and a large gym with personal training, free weights, strength machines, and cardio equipment.
Collaborative Delivery & Technical Expertise
Life Time facilities nationwide are typically delivered by their in-house construction and architecture teams. But this uniquely complex mixed-use high-rise prompted Life Time Construction and Architecture to partner with the One Chicago project team, who connected them with our in-house specialty group—revealing clear advantages in working directly with the base building contractor.
That collaboration leveraged local permitting expertise, IDPH compliance, and One Chicago VDC modeling for clash detection, prefabrication opportunities, optimized routing, and a high-fidelity as-built model—driving cost and time savings while elevating quality. Together, Life Time and Power expedited procurement of eight custom-fabricated, internationally sourced pools and spas, securing on-time delivery despite global supply chain pressures through early coordination and strategic purchasing.
