While concurrently building the Essex on the Park residential tower, our team completed a full restoration of Le Méridien Essex Chicago. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places, Le Méridien Essex combines unique elements from the 1950's with luxurious modern appointments.

All 273 guestrooms are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, a smart TV, Bluetooth-enabled bathroom mirrors and high-end features. The restaurants and bar areas are shared with the residential tower, connected on the ___ th floor.  Extensive amenity spaces include a large conference room, fitness center, and extravagant lobby with a bistro-style restaurant.

Historic Preservation at The Forefront

In accordance with the Chicago Landmarks Commission, the hotel's exterior, including the iconic rooftop sign and steel-and-glass facade, were preserved.
