A comprehensive hotel renovation at the Park Hyatt Chicago refreshed guestrooms, suites, and signature amenity spaces—bringing new life to this five‑star destination while maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout construction.
Guestrooms Renovation
Spanning 12 floors, the modernization introduced refined finishes and contemporary details across the guestroom floors. New carpeting, wall coverings, and upgraded fixtures were completed in 13 phases over 16 weeks. Each renovated room now features oversized soaking tubs and window seating with sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Magnificent Mile.
To minimize guest disruption, each floor was closed for only one week while work advanced through the occupied hotel. Two guestrooms were completed early as mockups to confirm finish quality and detailing. Close coordination with hotel management ensured robust life‑safety practices, controlled noise and dust, and a seamless guest experience.
Salon and Suites Renovation
The project also reimagined the Park Hyatt salon and 13 luxury suites with new flooring, wall coverings, and custom millwork—including vanities, credenzas, and built‑in desks. One suite was fully converted to meet ADA accessibility standards. Upgrades to the hotel’s wireless infrastructure further enhanced comfort and connectivity for guests.
NoMI Floor Enhancements
Renovations extended to the seventh‑floor NoMI Kitchen and adjoining public spaces, revitalizing this renowned dining and event level with refreshed finishes and an elevated aesthetic befitting the Park Hyatt brand.
The result is a rejuvenated Park Hyatt Chicago that blends timeless luxury with modern sophistication—maintaining its position as one of the city’s leading hospitality destinations.
